🥚Golden Eggs $PEGG

Golden Eggs ($PEGG) are the ultimate treasure of Pokville. It serves multiple purposes within the PokPok protocol, functioning primarily as the in-game reward token of the PokPok Protocol to incentivize farmers as staking emissions, can be burnt to receive a share of the protocol revenue, and used for wagering at the Arena.
$PEGG can only be obtained through the following:
PEGG/WETH Liquidity Pool on Aerodrome
Staking Profitable Chickens in PokPok Farm
Owning and staking a Genesis Flock NFT in PokPok Farm
The emissions from the chicken staking follow a lock-unlock schedule, with the lock-unlock ratios becoming more favorable as players wait for later epochs to make their claims. Each epoch lasts one week and epoch flip happens at 2pm UTC Monday. $PEGG tokens are emitted more heavily at earlier epochs to incentivize early adopters. In addition, 50% of locked $PEGG tokens are burnt each time farmers claim their unlocked $PEGGs prior to 100% unlock at Epoch 30. For illustration, at Epoch 20, 70% of earned $PEGGs are locked, while the unlock ratio is 30%. When a farmer decides to claim $PEGG from a staked chicken that has earned 100 $PEGG where 70 $PEGGs are locked and 30 $PEGGs are unlocked, he will receive 30 $PEGGs sent into his wallet, while 50% of the 70 locked $PEGGs are permanently burnt, i.e. 35 $PEGGs will remain locked until Epoch 30.
Whenever a transaction occurs in the PokPok protocol, a percentage accrues to a community pot, which is then claimable by community members who burn their Golden Eggs. Profit-sharing is time-gated within each epoch; therefore, users who burn their $PEGGs will be eligible for profit-sharing from the community pot in that epoch. The percentage of the community pot each farmer gets depends on the total number of $PEGGs burnt, weighted among the total $PEGGs burnt by the entire community. Profits here are inconsistent, and farmers would have to determine the best strategy of accumulation vs burning their $PEGGs.
The entire community pot will never be claimable as a remainder portion is always set aside as foundational funding for the next round of profit-sharing. Once $PEGGs are burned, they are permanently removed from the circulating supply. This increases token scarcity and supports $PEGG value, and ensures the sustainability of the PokPok ecosystem. $PEGG will continue to be supported as a mechanism to receive a share of the protocol revenue after Epoch 52 when emissions end.
This is an upcoming feature that will be available in the Market Place as part of PokPok Roadmap.
